This is what Chuck Woodbury,
noted author and editor of hundreds of articles on Rvs' and the RV lifestyle
had to say about the Rv Buyers Survival Guide; " No other book on the market
today addresses the basic fear of most new RV buyers --of being "taken"--of
paying much more than the dealer would have accepted. In it he reveals what
you will not find in any other RV book I know of, the "do's" and "don'ts"
that can make a huge difference in how much a buyer pays for an RV. If you
plan to buy an RV, you MUST read this book first."

This how to book is a must if you plan to purchase a new or used RV. The guide
walks you through the shopping process and describes the many types of Rv's that
are on the market, and how to choose the best one to suit your needs. There is
also a glossary of terms that are used in the RV business that will help you to
talk the talk. After you have done all your research, have found the RV of your
dreams, and are finally ready to take the big step towards the purchase, this
guide excells in teaching you how to make your best deal. It explains the ins
and outs of the industry, the best time to buy, and finally the purchasing
process, where you can save thousands of dollars. We found this guide very easy
to follow and when my wife and I applied his step by step instructions, by the
time negotiations were over we had saved thousands of dollars! Bob even taught
us how to receive more thousands in the value of our trade. It was a great
feeling knowing we had the confidence to walk into the sales office being one-up
on the dealer and their sales staff. Thanks for this great guide Bob!

This publication provides a good overview of the choices and decisions to be
made in purchasing any size RV. Bob Randall is a former RV dealer who knows all
the ins and outs. I found it especially helpful when it came time to negotiate a
deal on a new RV. Bob gives details on typical dealer markups and lets you know
how to figure a fair price. He also gives step by step advice on how to
negotiate with the dealer. I felt much more confident in my negotiations and
knew I walked out with a good deal. This book can save you lots of grief and
money!

Book
Description
The Rv Buyers Survival Guide is the first book that really directs you in
the buying process of Rvs. You get all the facts without the fluff. From
selecting what type of Rv fits your needs, to learning the "Insider"
secrets of negotiating, you won't be disappointed. The guide has proved helpfull
to all, whether they were buying the first Rv or the last. Written by a 25 year
veteran of the industry you'll find out how to figure what the dealer cost is
and how "NOT" to pay more than you should for it. Additionally the
guide comes with a support website that directs you to all the information tools
you'll need to help make the right choice in an Rv. Called by many the
"Black book of Rv knowledge" it has helped many save thousands of
dollars buying either a new or pre-owned Rv. A Must read- don't get taken by
dealers at your expense.
From the
Publisher
In his book, Bob Randall tells all. He shares his 25+ years as both a Rv
manufacturer and Rv dealer to help you make the right choices and pay what is
fair - not what is asked. Because information on the Rv business is so closely
guarded, many are confused by the hundreds of Rvs on the market and what is a
fair price to pay. From its' larger easy to read type size to its step by step
approach to making good choices Bob will teach you how to save real money while
not getting taken in the buying process.
From the
Author
My thinking on writing this book was simple, help more people join the
great Rv lifestyle without having to go through all the hassles that are part of
the normal buying process. I'll help you cut through all the hype and
misinformation that is out there and make good cost effective informed decisions
on what's right for you and yours. There's NO reason you can't buy an Rv at a
discounted price, if you know how the system works and what to expect along the
way. Give it a read, you'll be joining the many who have called to thank me.
About the
Author
The author has been in the Rv business since the early 70's. He spent 20
years working Director of Sales for the largest builder of Rvs in North America.
After two decades, he retired from this role and became sales manager of an Rv
dealership where he leaned all the tricks dealers use to get the most they can
from customers. From understanding the selection process to understanding dealer
cost factors, he shares all with those who want more for less. His "all the
facts without the fluff" thinking cuts through the hype and gives you the
information dealers hate you to know.

Congratulations. If you are reading this guide, you are likely preparing
to take a big step forward in your life by joining the many millions of others
who have discovered the Rv lifestyle. To truly enjoy this lifestyle, you must
first have the means to seek out your dream destinations- an Rv. At first
thought, you might say, " No big deal. I'll just go buy something and hit
the road." Hold that thought! This can very well be your first step towards
a nightmare that is repeated day in and day out in every corner of North
America. Most Rv buyers sign on the bottom line without getting the best deal
they could have. These people envision an Rv as their ticket to adventure and
serenity. And with this lofty dream in mind, they walk blindly into an Rv
dealership- so consumed by their dream that they ignore one stark reality: that
without the proper knowledge of what they are doing they can easily, and
inadvertently, hand over way too much of their hard-earned money to some one who
may not have their best interest in mind. The purpose of the guide is to
properly prepare you to make an informed purchase. In some instances, an Rv can
cost as much, if not more, than a regular home- the kind without wheels. Most of
us buy and trade our automobiles every few years. And with only a relatively few
car manufacturers to choose from, there is a great deal of information
available. So we most often come away from a purchase satisfied. However, unlike
an automobile, which serves primarily to get us from point A to point B, an Rv
serves as a "home" that goes to all points of the compass. There are
literally hundreds of Rv manufacturers building a mind-boggling number of
brands. Most offer dozens of floor plans in each model. With the help of this
guide, and its' funnel approach, you will be able to sort through the nearly
countless choices and determine what is right for you. And, then- and only then-
the "insider" information in this guide will provide you! with the
ammunition you'll need to negotiate a fair price. Whether you are brand new to
Rving or an experienced trader, there is information here that will enlighten
and reward you in many ways. Buying an Rv is not just about what you pay for it.
It's about making sure that you get what you pay for and that what you get is
what you need.
